Wireless Temperature Probe
The icy WineBar™ comes with a wireless temperature sensor. Simply insert the temperature sensor into your wine and it wirelessly transmits the temperature of your wine to the icy WineBar™'s temperature display .
1. Uncork the bottle; place it in the ice bucket, and pack ice around the wine bottle. (For faster chilling performance we recommend adding water to the ice.)
2. Press the “Power Button” on the ice bucket and select the proper setting according to the type of wine you wish to chill (red, light red, white, or champagne) (See above Four Preset Settings)
3. Place the sensor (wireless probe) in the wine and turn it on.
4. As your wine chills you will get a green flashing light telling you that your wine is almost ready (+/- 1°C).
5. Once that green light no longer blinks and is solid your wine is at the proper temperature depending on the preset setting you used (red, light red, white, or champagne).
6. At this point it is recommended that you remove your bottle from the ice, because if left in the ice your wine will continue to chill past the optimum serving temperature.
However if you leave your wine in the ice too long you will notice that you will get a red light. You can also tell that you have chilled your wine too far if the thin line is below the thick line on the thermometer display (see image on the right). All you have to do in this case is leave your bottle besides the ice bucket and allow it to simply warm up. Once the light turns a solid green again your wine is at the optimal serving temperature.
